Unless I’m missing something pretty obvious…is the first one just “redneck?” If so, it seems a bit out of place here.
Appalachian stereotype.
Yeah, but all of the other ones are pointing out racism against Poc (African, Latin@, Asian, Muslim, African/American), and Appalachia is a region populated predominantly by white people. The guy in the photo is certainly white.

understandable. Were near Appalachia and they do get looked down upon but at the same time they do have white privilege regardless.
^It took me a really fucking long time to get why the white dude was there. Mainly because I was like “I thought this was about cultural/racial appropriation?”
I think with folks from Appalachia it’s more of a class issue. Where I live is kind of at the edges of the Appalachian Mountains and so I don’t know about it too much firsthand, but I do know there is deep poverty in some of those communities, and that’s connected to other issues. I’m not sure that that one really fits with the others, but I do think that it’s thought provoking.
